U-plus Umweltservice AG represents as holding company of a group of decentrally administrated companies the business field waste disposal in the EnBW Group. This structure combines the speed and flexibility of a local medium-sized waste management company with a comprehensive range of services and the strength of a concern.
Commercial waste, for example, contains materials which can be recycled, and also those which can be used for generating energy. With a well thought-out combination of separation and recycling technology, both material flows - secondary fuels and recyclable materials - can be processed at the same plant.

The mechanical/biological treatment of private waste from human settlements can be used to extract heating fuel as well as stabilised bioorganic and mineral materials. Thanks to these processes and other experience in the field, U-plus can guarantee its customers that their waste will be correctly disposed of and that they can continue to concentrate on their core business.

The initiative by Gasversorgung Süddeutschland GmbH (GVS) to introduce natural gas filling stations for vehicles across Germany is also a contribution to using alternative and environmentally-friendly fuels.
