Natural gas vehicles

As a fuel, natural gas is exceptionally economical and environmentally-friendly. In order to facilitate a major breakthrough for this alternative fuel, 1,000 petrol stations across Germany are to make it available by 2007. One of the driving forces behind these efforts is Gasversorgung Süddeutschland GmbH (GVS) in Stuttgart. The petrol station network in Baden-Wurttemberg with its 53 stations is already one of the densest ones in all of Germany.

This technical service offered to natural gas filling stations is unique in Germany and is a building block of an overall concept: We have set up filling stations and standardised and simplified tender procedures. We are involved in projects which aim to improve the technology of the plants and offer training courses for garages. And we organize day events to increase public awareness of this issue. The main building block, however, is customer satisfaction and customer service.
