Ratings
Standard & Poor's has rated EnBW's credit standing since December 2000, Moody's since January 2002. The two leading rating agencies have always given EnBW a credit rating in the A category both in the past and up till today. Due to the increasing repute of EnBW in the German and European utilities environment as well as on the capital markets now EnBW has been evaluated also by the third important rating agency Fitch in May 2009. Fitch has also rated EnBW´s financial strength in the A category.
One of EnBW's main goals for the future is to maintain a rating in the A category.
