Dr. Schulten steps down as Chief Financial Officer of EnBW
Karlsruhe. For health reasons Dr. Rudolf Schulten has today stepped down from his post as Chief Financial Officer of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG by mutual agreement and with immediate effect. Supervisory Board Chairman, Dr. Claus Dieter Hoffmann said, "The supervisory board thanks Dr. Rudolf Schulten for his work on the board and for his high level of dedication. Although sadly he only worked with EnBW for a short time, he has driven the development of the company forward. We wish him all the best for the future, in particular for his health."
Dr. Rudolf Schulten joined the board of EnBW in January 2009. Previously he had been Chairman of the Board at MVV Energie AG from 2003 to 2008.
EnBW Board Chairman Hans-Peter Villis said, "In Dr. Rudolf Schulten the EnBW board is losing an experienced board member and valued colleague. We respect his decision and regret the circumstances of his leaving. We wish him the quickest possible recovery."
In December 2009 the board of EnBW had already reassigned responsibilities within the board as per the schedule of responsibilities due to Dr. Rudolf Schulten's absence on health grounds.
