EnBW posts Detlef Schmidt and "Kajo" Neukirchen to the Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf
Karlsruhe. Dr. h.c. Detlef Schmidt, Director of Marketing and Sales on the Management Board of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, and Dr. Karl Josef Neukirchen, an independent consultant to the company, have been posted by EnBW to the Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG. Düsseldorf Local Coourt officially appointed them to their positions with effect from December 1, 2003. The Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf and the company itself will not only profit from the high-level expertise and know-how of the two new members; Dr. Neukirchen in particular also possesses in-depth knowledge of the local and regional context.
The choice of these two high-ranking experts for this task underlines the commitment of EnBW to the business interests of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf and the major importance that EnBW attaches to its holding in this municipal supply company. The third person posted to the Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf by EnBW has already been the EnBW CEO for a number of months: namely Prof. Dr. Utz Claassen.
