EnBW Supervisory Board appoints Dr. Dirk Mausbeck as Director of Sales and Networks
Karlsruhe. At its meeting yesterday, the Supervisory Board of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG appointed 48 year old Dr. Dirk Mausbeck to the EnBW Board, in the position of Director of Sales and Networks, for a period of 3 years, effective from 1st October 2011.
Currently Dr. Mausbeck is Managing Director of EnBW Trading GmbH where his area of responsibility covers the Energy Industry. The company EnBW Trading GmbH is the central interface along the energy value-added chain between production, trade and sales. Prior to his time with EnBW Trading GmbH, Dr. Mausbeck was active in several senior management positions for EnBW and the Shell energy and petrochemicals group.
Dr. Mausbeck succeeds Christian Buchel who left the EnBW at his own request on 31st May 2011 to pursue new opportunities at Electricité de France (EDF).
Dr. Claus Dieter Hoffmann, Chair of the EnBW Supervisory Board, is delighted to be able to welcome such an experienced energy manager as Dr. Mausbeck onto the EnBW Board.
