Frank Mastiaux reappointed as Chairman of the Board of Management
Karlsruhe. The Supervisory Board of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has reappointed Frank Mastiaux as Chairman of the Board of Management for a further five years at their meeting today. The existing contract, which runs until 30 September 2017, has been extended until 30 September 2022.
Lutz Feldmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board: “By reappointing Frank Mastiaux for a second term so early on, we want to ensure that EnBW can continue with its successful reorientation as a modern and innovative energy company under his leadership. Since he took up his role in 2012, the restructuring of EnBW has been characterised by a clear strategy, its rigorous implementation and not least a positive change in culture. Despite the extremely difficult underlying conditions, Frank Mastiaux and his team have succeeded over the last few years in keeping the company as a whole on a stable course and opening up new growth opportunities. The Supervisory Board thanks him for the progress achieved so far and looks forward to continuing to work together with him in the future.
