The federal state of Baden-Württemberg acquires 45.01% of EnBW shares via its wholly owned entity Neckarpri GmbH
Karlsruhe. Neckarpri GmbH, an entity wholly owned by the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, notified EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG on 17 February 2011 in accordance with Secs. 21 and 22 German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that it holds 45.01% of the shares in EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG and accordingly has voting rights from 112,517,569 ordinary shares.
Besides Neckarpri GmbH with its shareholding of 45.01%, EnBW’s shareholders as of today are OEW Energie-Beteiligungs GmbH (OEW), which also holds 45.01% of the shares in EnBW, along with Badische Energieaktionärs-Vereinigung (BEV) with a 2.54% holding, Gemeindeelektrizitätsverband Schwarzwald-Donau (G.S.D.) with 1.28% of the shares, Landeselektrizitätsverband Württemberg (LEVW) with a shareholding of 0.54%, Neckar-Elekrizitätsverband (NEV) with a 0.69% holding and other municipal shareholders accounting for 0.78% of the EnBW shares. EnBW itself holds 2.30%; 1.85% of the shares are free float.
The total number of shares in EnBW currently amounts to 250,006,200 no-par value bearer shares. The EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG share is quoted on the regulated market of the stock exchanges in Frankfurt a. M. and Stuttgart.
