Professional integration

With our integration program, we prepare refugees and immigrants for technical vocational training in Germany in the fields of mechanical technology and electrical engineering.

At the same time, we offer German language classes in order to bring them up to a B2 level while also teaching them the technical vocabulary required for training.

How to participate

Our selection process is made up of three stages with the following requirements:

1st stage
Trial internship
2nd stage
Entry qualification
3rd stage
Apprenticeship
  • Karlsruhe: 2 days a week (total duration: 14 days)
  • Esslingen: trial day, followed by a one week internship
  • Presentation of the company and the apprenticeship occupations as well as mechanical and electrical engineering exercises

  • Duration: 6 - 12 months
  • Preparation for an apprenticeship with subsequent IHK certification
  • Duration: 3 ½ years
  • Recognized vocational training
Prerequisites for participation
  • German language skills level A2

  • Participation in an internship
  • German language skills level B1
  • Participation in the entry qualification program (Esslingen)
  • Attendance of the one-year industrial-technical vocational school (Karlsruhe)
  • German language skills level B2
  • Professional and personal qualification
