The supervisory board of EnBW appoints three new members to the board of management
Stuttgart. On Wednesday the supervisory board of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG appointed Dr. Bernd Balzereit, Dr. Bernhard Beck, and professor Dr.-Ing.Thomas Hartkopf members of the board of management of EnBW.
Dr. Bernd Balzereit (55), a longtime member of the board of management of the energy supplier BEWAG AG in Berlin, will undertake the duties of the EnBW Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Bernhard Beck (48), who was spokesman of the executive board of the EnBW Energie-Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH up to now will succeed the board member responsible for human resources Hans-Jürgen Arndt when Arndt retires due to reaching the retirement age applicable to board members of EnBW. Professor Dr. Thomas Hartkopf (54), a graduate in civil engineering who presently holds a chair at the Technical University of Darmstadt, will be the new board member responsible for technology at EnBW.
The board of management will carry out the final allocation of responsibilities at a later date, now that it has six members again.
