We published our EnBW Green Financing Framework in October 2018 and update it on a regular basis. This is the basis on which all of our green financing instruments, such as green bonds, are issued on the capital market. Here you can find our Green Financing Framework.

    EU taxonomy

The project categories specified in the Framework correspond to the classification system for environmentally sustainable economic activities0As amended 18 June 2020 and the technical screening criteria for the environmental objective of climate change mitigation0As amended 20 November 2020 under the EU Taxonomy Directive.

Projects financed or refinanced under the Framework are selected, among other criteria, on the basis of compliance with the relevant metrics, thresholds and ‘do no significant harm’ criteria under the EU Taxonomy.

Here you can find further information on the EU taxonomy.
