Restructuring of shareholdings is now fully concluded
Karlsruhe. The remaining six percent shareholding in EWE still held by EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG following the restructuring of shareholdings in autumn 2015 has today been transferred to new ownership. The municipal shareholders of EWE, who together form the EWE-Verband, utilised an option agreed at that time. A further 20 percent of the shares in EWE that were also held by EnBW had already been transferred at earlier points in time.
In return, EnBW received a 74.2 percent shareholding in Verbundnetz Gas AG in Leipzig. Following today’s sale of the remaining shares in EWE, the restructuring of shareholdings is now fully concluded.
