EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG wants to make an active contribution to the success of energy transition and climate protection with the help of the independent foundation, Stiftung Energie & Klimaschutz (The Foundation for Energy & Climate Protection). The purpose of the Foundation is to promote climate protection. The work of the Foundation focuses on issues related to energy supply and energy use in the context of climate change and its consequences. The aim is to shed light on the relationships between the energy industry and climate protection and to package it in an understandable way. The Foundation opts primarily for the medium of debate. It sees itself as a platform that invites all interested parties from politics, business, science and society to a controversial and comprehensive discussion, both online and offline, about the future of energy.
