We are working to further expand Renewable Energies and aim to increase the current capacity of around 4.4 GW, which accounts for about 32 percent of our total installed output, even further. As part of the EnBW 2025 strategy, we are focussing on offshore wind power, onshore wind power and PV. In the process, we will also rely on further selective internationalisation.
from renewable energies
We generate new energy from the power of the wind – both on land and at sea
The joint project EnBW Hohe See and EnBW Albatros in the North Sea has been fully connected to the grid since the start of the year. It was the largest offshore project of the German Energiewende to date and also the largest in the history of EnBW. And EnBW remains on track for growth offshore. We also hold the rights to a further project in the North Sea – the He Dreiht wind farm with a total output of around 900 MW.
In the onshore sector, we have wind farms in Germany across the Group with a capacity of more than 800 MW connected to the grid and are one of the leading developers and operators of wind farms in Germany.
We are continuing to focus on growth both offshore and onshore in the heartland of Germany but are also focussing on expanding into selected markets in Europe (France and Sweden), Asia and North America.
