Ambition: Net Zero

EnBW is committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions within the company by 2040 and across the entire value chain by 2050 at the latest. Key milestones on this path include:

  • the continued expansion of renewable energy
  • the phase-out of coal by the end of 2028
  • major investments in electricity and gas grids, including hydrogen infrastructure
