EnBW signs syndicated loan facility for € 2 billion
Karlsruhe. EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg today signed a syndicated loan facility for € 2 billion. The syndicated loan facility will be used for gen-eral corporate purposes and replaces the existing syndicated loan facility for € 2.5 billion established in May 2005.
The syndicate providing the syndicated loan facility consists of 18 banks. The transaction was coordinated by BayernLB, Commerzbank Aktiengesell-schaft and Societé Générale Corporate & Investment Banking.
The syndicated loan facility was well received in the market and was con-siderably oversubscribed. It has an initial term of five years and subse-quently can be prolonged twice for one year.
