Karlsruhe. Handover at EnBW: Effective as of 1 October 2012, Dr. Frank Mastiaux (48) is the new CEO of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG. He replaces Hans-Peter Villis, who decided not to renew his contract.
EnBW’s new CEO Dr. Frank Mastiaux described the energy landscape as currently in a period of great upheaval:
“The energy world of tomorrow will be vastly different from what it is today. The answer to the question of what the ideal overall system should look like in the future is not a trivial one. However, it is clear that the role of all market participants, from customers to municipal utilities through to energy groups, will change fundamentally. Yet the energy market remains a growth market offering many opportunities. And it is these opportunities EnBW needs to take advantage of.”
